And Tesco etc don't dump most of their non-food items higgledy piggledy in great deep wire cages you have to rummage through like some bizarre version of a school fair treasure hunt, never knowing quite what oddity you might pull out ...

I 'bought' it to replace my floor mop bucket that had a broken handle which I threw out.

The new very clever folding bucket is yet to be used.

Went in for bread and milk- came out also carrying wagu burgers and a 5m ladder

On another occasion, i think i went in for a ready meal to take to work, and came out with a work stand to service my bike, reduced to something silly like £6 - its really sturdy too, they're currently back in stock at £30

I bought some multipack crisps in Aldi yesterday. Their equivalent of wotsits, frazzles and monster munch.

Opened a pack of the "frazzles" and there was just ONE lonely frazzle in the whole packet
