just been to asda for some baby potatoes,

they all looked the same,

the smart price ones £1 for 1kg but the organic ones £2 for 750g wtf going on there they all come out of the ground

Ah but the organic ones come from free range ground with no fences and humane treatment ie slowly and carefully dug by hand not sliced by big wicked ploughs pmsl x

try slicing em all the way on the top (put on a spoon when cutting them then you dont cut all the way thru) sprinkle with garlic salt and olive oil no need to preboil. then roast....you have yourself hassleback potatoes...voila

Yeah, makes a lie of the stories put about by the Organic lobby! After extensive testing, pesticides are manufactured in such a way that the residues are out of the fruit/veg within two days...

On the BBC news a few months ago was a story about the organic growers wanting to get permission to grow non organic crops, but still retain their organic status for when the recession was over!

Talk about a big con!

Bare in mind the same people telling you that modern pesticides aren't harmful are the same people that said that asbestos was safe, phalydamide was a good drug for pregnant women, and that DDT had no enviromental impact.

Forgive me if I hold reservations on what labcoats tell me
