" okay... let me pluck out.. let say 10... you've got a friend, carol king brown sugar, rolling stones my sweet lord, george harrison american pie, don maclean whats going on, marvin gaye maggie may, rod stewart stairway to heaven, led zeplin your song, elton john gypsies tramps and thieve, sonny and cher lets get it on, t-rex and i have even mentions lennon (imagine was 1971!!!) or mccartney, stevie wonder, arteha franklin, james taylor, and i could go on.... if you ever get the chance the 1971 playlist on spotify by hepworth is a cracking night by itself | |||

Some great songs from 71 you've posted although personally can't stand Stairway To Heaven or Maggie May, and a bit meh about Your Song too. From 1971 you also have: Knock Three Times - Dawn (4th best selling single of the year) Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep - Middle Of The Road (3rd best selling single of the year) The Pushbike Song - The Mixtures Grandad - Clive Dunn Ernie The Fastest Milkman In The West - Benny Hill | |||
