I hardly ever look at winks and tend to delete on mass. If someone can't put together a well presented message then its a no go.

Maybe they're shy. Quite how that coincides with getting one's kit off in a crowded room and doing the most intimate thing 5 people can do is beyond me.

Hmmm I'm not so sure about that as in a crowded pub, in the good old days of vanilla pulling, a wink from an interested lass was a green light to go get her.

i look at it like the poke function on facebook, annoying and pointless. although i admit i occasionally use winks to show interest but on the whole prefer to send a real message.

Ooo I can use my standard phrase now

'A wink is just a friendly hello, it does not mean I am shaving my genitals in anticipation.

Some people wink without reading a profile properly and then when they get a message then decide the person is not for them, if its a couple perhaps one of the couple, usually the one who didn't do the wink, is not keen, perhaps the message made them think no the person isn't right. Whatever the reason its only a wink not a binding contract
