Not particularly, though my then girlfriend's mum was with me at that appointment - don't ask - and she laughed at that exchange.

Unlikely unless they are very new, health care professionals, police etc. -seen it all, pretty hard to shock and also more inclined to the swing lifestyle than many groups..

Unlikely unless they are very new, health care professionals, police etc. -seen it all, pretty hard to shock and also more inclined to the swing lifestyle than many groups..

I'd say it's likely if they assumed it was with a man. Not very open minded. I'm always amazed by the red faces when they see my tattoo and piercing. Usually question me about it as well.

I had to have a pelvic floor assessment due to a bit of stress incontinence after having babies. Basically the physio put her fingers inside me and told me to squeeze for varying amounts of time. She was lovely and professional up until the end of the assessment when she suddenly seemed really flustered, which made me feel incredibly awkward and embarrassed. She said my pelvic floor was very strong

I totally forgot I wouldn't let them have their speculum back after having a coil fitted. Poor woman got quite cross with me. She'd bloody hurt me so I wasn't let go easily.

Limerick

Not so much awkward. Went to my doctor and my bp was through the roof. Was sent to the nurses office to lie down. An ambulance was eventually rang. When it arrived I was sitting up laughing and joking with 2 doctors and the nurse. Ambulance crew were a young guy and an older guy. Older guy was checking me over taking the piss laughing joking flirting. Young fellow feeling left out pipes up why were you at the doctors. Looked him straight in the face and said contraception. He went bright red. The room erupted with laughter. He ran from the room and even refused to get in the back with me. Every time they were in casualty that night. I gave him a wink. And he ran. His partner told me as they were clocking off. Was the best laugh he had in ages. Young fella was terrified of me lol
