giving a compliment

I quite often fab peoples pics and msg them to say I think there pics are hot. Not wanting anything in return just like giving compliments. Really surprised by the negativity that comes back. Either deleted straight away even though I'm miles away and do not match there likes or just rude replies.

Is it not nice to hear a compliment?

I've never had anything negative back when I've messaged someone purely to compliment their pics. Often I get no reply, but sometimes they'll message back to say thanks.

If you expect nothing back being deleted shouldn't be a problem. A rude response isn't necessary though.

Being complimented is nice if its genuinely meant and polite.

Maybe I just been raised different. Surely if someone says something nice be civil to reply. If I was to then go on msging that's different

I think it's incredibly difficult to accept a comment from a stranger without thinking they have an ulterior motive to just passing a compliment.

Particularly when done on a site such as this.

Particularly when deluged by men.

Even more so when a proportion of such men wil use any tactic and/or stoop to any level to get their own kicks.

Don't take it personally, but do accept that people see things differently.

Realistically, why would a man be mailing a compliment to a woman, on her body, on a sex site, if the goal was not a positive outcome ? Not having a pop, just sayin

if someone used to message me regarding my pics i always thanked them..

however, they then saw this as a green light to further chat, so I stopped and now I don't even look..I just delete as too much hassle

But many do. I get mails all the time from men hundreds of miles away. It's amazing how many men pass through my area 'regularly'

People often message from hundreds of miles away to compliment us on our pictures, even from the states. We usually send a quick thanks. However I can understand why people don't.

I think you need to accept that people won't always respond as you'd like them to or stop sending compliments if its going to annoy you when they don't.

The most sincere compliment is surely an unconditional one?

Complimenting unknown people in the hope of them replying isn't fair on them? Makes them feel obliged when they didn't request attention? I think the fab button is the appropriate avenue here.

Spot on!

If someone I'm interested in compliments me then I'd usually thank them because I'm open to the prospect of chatting - but otherwise don't want to get embroiled in chat which wouldn't lead anywhere as saying thanks usually prompts another message nine times out of ten. That might sound hard faced but I don't have the time, there's no intention to be rude.

I think its often because people assume you will meet them or are interested if you get into a dialogue.Also,most people will say anything to get laid,so i take it with a big pinch of salt,unless its from someone I know.
