Will you also watch it? It is on ch4 9pm tonight, is it really that hard nowadays as we have tomtoms that shows the routes?

That is right, is it only at the test? Cos when you walk past taxis you see them all use it dont you? lol.

not black cabs i dont think but to be honest, not taken a cab in london for years

Same here, neither have I, but the ones here have them. I reckon anyone can be one, you juts need to know where the famous sights are like big ben, then the tomtom does the rest, they are over complicating things with the exams.

Taxi driver here, don't use a sat nav and dislike seeing them in cabs, learning your patch should be a prerequisite for the job...but apparently that makes me a dinosaur

Part of the knowledge,was keeping the price of entry high,ie you have to put the time n effort in,keeping out the 'have a go's' who do so much to reduce rates in other jobs,closed shop so frowned upon these days
