I would love to know the real ratio to how many men there are compared to women on fab.

No wonder all the single males get frustrated.

Therefore as a single lady receiving hundreds and hundreds of messages per day it does make us very picky who we reply too due to time constraints.

I hate it when a man gets shitty I didn't reply to his messages, sorry mate I had to go to work.

True fact on here, look at the 'fabathon' and 'the person above' threads, it's about 80/20 if you're lucky, forums are different I guess but even the daily pics for women are way lower than men in terms of volume. Also the club tickets, men sell out in hours and the couples and ladies are few..

Guys have just got to accept this fact and live with it and most of all don't let it eat away at them to make them bitter.

I think it's a great place, and just getting the chance to chat with people is fab, but it must be difficult for the girls trying to choose which messages to answer..?

The only people who could confirm the true ratio is admin and I sincerely doubt they would as it wouldn't make the site look appealing to all those single men who part with their £5's for site support.

I think only the people with unrealistic expectations get wound up on here.

Whilst many peruse the sites, getting amorous as they do so, they forget one thing; behind every sex profile is a normal person not constantly there to satisfy your carnal urge on tap.

No strings sex? You still need to form some relationship with people on here? After all its not some porn film where you walk in and participate?

The ratio is huge. Sadly so are expectations as opposed to realistic and rational.

It's easy to find out the ratio by doing a random search and counting up the numbers

I have done a search a couple of times sampling the first hundred and then the first two hundred and. Got similar results thud

Single guys 75%

Couples 15%

Single women 5%

Tv/ts 5%

So the single men to single women ratio is about 15 to 1

I understand what your saying about the filters as I've blocked tv's but I wouldn't want to block single male as I've met some real great genuine blokes, that's where most of the traffic comes from.

This site is far cheaper for guys to pay for than others out there. I use a dedicated marital affairs site where the ratio is probably 1 man to 2 women, but men have to pay £120 for 4 weeks membership, and women get to use the site for free. That being said, nobody has to pay to use Fab if they don't want to.

I've not blocked all men, just used to filters to narrow down who can message, no point having filters open so guys way outside my prefered age range can message, plenty ignored my profile and messaged anyway, now they can't, problem solved.

It's probably also worth mentioning that where you are in the country. Just a hunch and with no evidence to back it up but in London and other big cities you probably get more women and couples what with conventional sexual morality re women being less influential.

The above stats if true are a surprise too me as I thought there would be less TV/TS's as a percentage.

What some may find interesting is that 50% roughly of the guys that contact me detail themselves as 'straight' the others 'bi-curious or bisexual'. Not a problem for me but is that guys hiding a taboo?

We met on Fab, together 2yrs, but now he's very bitter towards me as he found my profile, so I've had to try and really go undercover this time, hence the feet pics as he knows every inch of my body.

might be a good move for a while, and then you can go on the "hunt" yourself, looking for those men who you might be attracted to, and out those who aren't.

It may seem harsh, but the Block button could be you're best friend, as it stops all communication and potential abuse

I think a lot of the men are Bots. They all say the same thing "How are you?" And all want to meet and be friends by the 3rd message.... It's aimed at making the women feel desired....

You can tell a bot because when you arrange a meet they don't turn up and block you on the morning of the meet.... Lets face it there cannot be that many men with erectile dysfunction in this country??....

This used to be on the home page at the bottom.

It was removed I assume due to the ever increasing ratio of men to women. Last I seen it was at 14 or 16 to 1.

Another site ran by the same people still has it. But it's disheartening so I assume that's why it's removed.

Am thinking the ratio now is conservatively 18:1.

However their are a number of fake males posing as females and I think virtually 0 females posing as men.

Factoring that in 18/20:1 would seem a reasonable assumption.
