Scotland has approved PrEP treatment, a prophylactic drug, for prescription to high risk people. Truvada is the drug that should be available in a few weeks.

NHS England said in 2016 that they will start a trial later this year, running for 3 years, after losing court cases - which cost public money. The trials are still to start and this treatment is available in other countries, following many published medical trials.
