Just tried chicken feet at a mates party, they're quite the delicacy in his culture, tasted no bad to be honest, a bit like pigs tail or trotters.

What out of the norm food have you tried and was it nice?

"Frogs legs, snails, elvers, kangaroo and ostrich. "

I like elvers. Or I did when I was a kid and they were easier to get. Fishy spaghetti. Not a fan of the texture of snail but I've eaten those a few times. I loved baby octopus though; it's like squid but less chewy and I love squid anyway.

I always feel sorry for people who have never had the chance to eat a proper dripper. Or a lardy cake if they're in pig rather than dairy country.

When I was in Hong Kong there were so many weird and wonderful foods. Most of it was fresh seafood but I can't choose something to eat which is alive and then killed in front of me. And I'm not quite sure what some of the meat hanging up was. I'm OK if the meat is disguised in sauces etc, otherwise I'm not that adventurous.
