Why do some get Angry

Just a question/discussion... why is some get very aggressive and shirty if you cannot drop everything straight away.... ??

Is this not a place for fun ??? Sometimes it bemuses us why people do no understand normal life .. work, gfamily and friends means playtime can be limited .. patience will be rewarded lol...

because some people don't realise you can't drop everything at that time to meet.... don't worry, we have all had it happen to us at some point..

after all.. i was good enough to meet 5 mins ago when you asked.....

just don't let it get to you.. its not worth the energy

totally agree !

my kids have started their school hols so i cant meet until september but some people just dont get that and almost disbelieve me and accuse me of lying!

i like to make the most of my free time but family will always come first and no amount of raging will change that.

yep i get that a lot if you cand drop everything and meet they huff and puff even though you have stated the time when you can meet ,just the ither day i got a real shirty guy because i would not talk dirty with him on the phone ,,come on guys its not just about you

Thanks .. this perticular couple we blocked a couple of weeks ago.. they have even set up a single female profile to contact us again then chat... seemed ok and finally offered to chat on phone.. gave number and guess who it was.. very stroppy and telling us we were not genuine and had reported us to admin.. that we did not have enough verifications etc etc... We have been faced verified by admin .. but it does worry you that your profile will be deleted due to one aggressive couple..

Because some people are cocks who have sad little lives. I doubt that you would have had a great experiance had you of met them anyway

Think positive, is a good way of saving you going to the extent of meeting if they come across like that in initial messages.But the tactical new profile is sneaky, you can opt for the filter, "No new members to contact you" but that will hinder decent new members contacting you both.

It's not just here that you get people like that - they exist in vanilla life too.

Can't be arsed with an egoistic banker who expected to be at his beck and call, and when I rejected him, he got all shirty with me.

I still get the comment well your not genuine cos not meet ppl, not that am a student plus work 35 hrs per week plus loads of essays so apart from chat am struggling to get meets that can fit in ( or ppl wo like or want me)

But I been called fake os it so don't worry just ignore

I really do not understand people getting shirty about not being replied to straight away etc.

It isn't going to make you want to meet them is it.

The same goes when you delete an email they don't like that.

If I send someone a message and it is deleted, I move on as that shows they are not interested.

If I don't get a reply I tend to think I am not what they are after.

I just don't see the point in badgering people.

I got called a fake by a couple whom I had already met and had fun with (from another site), all because I let them know 10 days in advance that my time off from work had been turned down.

Like others have said we all have lives outside of swinging and sometimes fun has to come second.

Although letting people down for a met without a reason or even telling them is another matter altogether.

Hope that makes sense lol

Agree that some do seem angry and occasionally desperate (how attractive lol) but there is another side to this... lets face it lots of fakes on here. By fake I mean people pretending to be arranging to meet when they have no intention of doing so. For those who just chat, post, cam etc they are not fakes, they just choose how they use the site in a different way than those here for meets. Fair enough. Distrust is rife and if you try to meet someone a number of times always to be turned away then suspicion is aroused. There will always be those who are dishonest and spoil trust for the rest. Its a tricky balance for sure.

I think that a number of people simply cannot accept that the world doesn't revolve around them. I'ts been pointed out that frustration is a big factor too, which I totally agree with- the site is supposed to be fun after all, and no one likes pushiness. Personally I try to be laid back about it all: meets sometimes happen- sometimes they don't (however, deliberate time-wasting is another matter entirely)

All very true ... and yes would agree nothing woorse than someone saying yes I would love to meet... cant wait to meet ... really must get together soon... etc etc then never really doing so... and again far to many fakers too.... but angry ???? they must be so desperate or blind to the fact they are not everones cup of tea...

I think it's reflective of how our culture has become much more about self, over recent years.

With swinging, more so probably than single's dating, the availability of others, and coordination is potentially more complex, and so people would rightly expect to not always have meets immediately or just when they want.

Those of us who are less flexible potentially miss out, but this is true of many things in life. I'd prefer to have everything right - the timing, people, mood etc, so that it gives greater potential for better quality fun. Good things are always worth waiting for, and I've accepted that I'll miss out occasionally because I can't just drop everything. I particularly dislike being pressured to meet, just because someone must have absolute immediate relief of their needs, whilst they're insensitive to my needs. Someone like that is potentially emphasising that they're not likely to be a sensitive partner anyway, as they're probably much more selfish than others, so probably best avoided.

Take heart, decent people are empathetic, understanding and will be there for you, when it suits you.

I guess for some it is about instant gratification? Being on a site like this raises the expectation in some people that sex is available at the drop of a hat... and they forget that other people may have committments and .. a life outside the scene.

Personally, I tend to break off any initial contact with people who display this trait... as it can be a sign of intolerance and lack of understanding of other people's life style.

We had a message from a couple a day after we had joined, we had a meet today on and they emailed us but because we didn't answer them within 20 minutes of them emailing and when we did answer it was a 'No thanks' they got really stroppy, called us time wasters and threatened to report us then subsequently blocked us..... that was our initial welcome to FAB but things have certainly got better
