Over the years I've been on and off this site and had various types of profile text. Ive never really noticed a difference with the response I get, so I'm kind of thinking profiles are a bit pointless? I might be wrong but wondered how others feel about it?

Is it more about the photos you have? And if so how can you take good photos and at the same time protect your identity? Do I need a willy pic ?

To some they do, others less so. I occasionally wonder why I bothered writing one or pondering if it's in Fab invisible ink. Might change it to 'blonde bird with boobs' to save on server space for all the good it does

I always read profiles - tag lines and all.

Some women read profiles before even reading messages.

Take photos of your arse or chest.

I think that there's so many different people with different desires and what they are looking the best thing to do is just write exactly what you're looking for on your profile, be yourself.

Take "artistic" photos like a whip in a clenched fist, your naked body sprawled out but your 'private' (lol) parts not on show and your partner's tits if you have one (or two).

I have had comments on my profile though, a tiny bit of detail doesn't hurt. It's mainly based off how often your face is shown at clubs for the most part, in my experience anyway.

Well my profile is hardly riveting stuff and there isn't a pic in sight. No I don't get a 1000 messages a day, if I did that would ruin my experience. I've revised it to stop the messages I didn't want to keep receiving. So yes your profile does matter in respect of what you attract to your inbox or at least it does in my case. I've helped others with profiles, I've had messages back from them saying it's made a difference too

You need to be searching for the ladies and sending them messages.

Some ladies actively search themselves for guys but most don't.

I have tried searching but the fact is there are just so many men in my area i don't have the time and i get fed up of sifting through them all.

When we first joined we had a fairly vague profile, and just got loads of messages from single guys, which at that time we weren't looking for. once we changed it, so it was directed at a very specific group, we started getting more attention from those types we wanted to get attention from so for us it did make a difference.

Personally a profile is the first thing we look at but if its short and not particularly interesting then that doesn't mean we're not interested. We'll then look at photos and the message, if we like the look of them physically and they send a good message then we'll probably get back in touch.

Basically either a good profile OR a good message is needed for us, as well as nice photos.

I try and do my own searching but to no avail, not due to the lack of time etc, just so many shite profiles and no pictures or just cock shits, so its just a total waste of time in my area

Writing in text is very hard to express what you mean without hearing it yourself. Words or a profile are a bit like the Sunday Sport, you read between the lines.

My profile says I'm not looking and it depends on 'you' if I'm interested, short but to the point... Not much of a profile but it's the truth!

Cock pix, No.

How to? Camera settings, timer, sorted... just stay still for a second or two when you hear the bleep.

Then crop, edit, check and post. If I take 50 pix, you (the public) will maybe see a few.

If you pique someone's interest, be honest, open and sell yourself.

We only meet people who have a well articulated profile - even if we only meet them in Clubs. Similarly, we will only even reply to someone if we know they have read our profile,

90% of this site is bullshit. But if you navigate correctly - the 10% is there and great

It depends who your target meets are. I think profiles make a huge difference to results - they do for me. Someone who is highly attractive to more people than someone else is likely to, on average, find it easier to meet but for most people a profile is make or break imo

My profile (even though it was voted best ever on fab) doesn't matter as I never send the first message everyone I have met has been from meet and greets or from chatting in the chatrooms, maybe that is why I only get one message a fortnight though

Ok so apparently having a profile does make a difference for 50% of you guys and girls on here. The other 50% think its a waste of time.

I feel I've made reasonable effort with my profile text and personally I've never noticed a difference.

I'm thinking it's possibly more to do with my photos. Its difficult taking photos that don't show my identity. And most on here say no willy pics so I'm running out of bits to photograph!
