Y'know the images you get of someone in your head do you ever get surprised when they're not what they look like?

I've had a couple today where I was convinced the person would be dark and he had hardly any hair and another in my head was quite grungy and his picture wasn't like that at all.

I often get told they were expecting dark haired person which is strange cos I'm so pale.I love pfp putting face to body

Yeah sometimes. You build up an impression of someone then when you see their photo it's nothing like you imagined. Not in a bad way...just different.

I can't say it ever has on here, but there have been other situations I've been in where I know exactly what you mean OP and it's weird to then have to think of someone totally different than you imagined them.

That said I'm never happy with my face pics of me anyway, and often think people will see me differently "in the flesh" than they do from a pic, which is another tangent to what you're referring to I know.

In the good ol' days, when I used to do FPF, I'd constantly have my 'mental' picture of someone blown away. People I'd always imagined with long blonde hair with short dark hair, that sort of thing. It's strange but I rarely (if ever) found myself thinking 'ew, not for me' - most of the ladies here are jolly nice!

I wouldn't say surprised as such. More, I have that ooo i pictured someone different in my head. It's always good fun though. I dont think we've caused anyone too much trauma...yet.
