Two & a half hour delay

Southampton

So finished early on Isle of Wight so went to catch earlier ferry than one I booked - normal practice - but a jobsworth has said I have to wait till 3.30pm as per booking.

What can keep me entertained for that long? Suggestions!

On your own of with kids?

If kids, drive to Port Victoria, go left along the beach and look for fragments of fossilised crocodile & turtle shell.

Had haircut, grabbed lunch now on stand by for the 2.30. I would hang around longer and grab a beer but traffic other side will be hellish so need to get there asap!

On my own, books would have been good! Stuck in the stand by lane otherwise would grab a newspaper. Fossiling another day, I'm in smart shoes shirt etc so prob wouldn't work!
