To be honest, the first Saw film was brilliant, after that it just went downhill, very rare are 'trilogies' any good, Matrix maybe but then I really didn't understand much after the first one. The last Pirates of the Carribean was so so, worth it for Johnny Depp but wasn't as good as the others, missed Kiera Knightley too

Sin City

Wall-E

Any action packed film with a hero who happens to only have one pistol and can hold off a whole army of AK47 armed rebels, dodge every bullet going, yet can kill all of the army (with 6 bullets and no reloading), and come out of it all unscathed except for a slight 'scratch'! (See any film with Sylvestor Stallone, Bruce Willis, Arnold Swarzaneggar).

lol @OMG..I cant see much of a distinction between Lord of the rings and any other fantasy film (which are my faves)..

I dont mind Harry Potter films that much, but of course we are continually told that as long as its based on a book its somewhat more worthwhile seeing than something based on a comic.I have long been into art/fantasy work since i was very young, on my arrival to art school the comic-book/anime world was(is) looked at with pure disgust.

Sorry to most of ya....I just think its some level of elevated snobbery, I like the fantasy/sci-fi/action films of past n present(not all are great of course)
