The Big Four Oh..

So fabsters it appears that it's finally about to creep up on me.

The thing is I neither feel nor look it.

A few people recently said I look late 20's or early 30's which was quite pleasing.

The thing is I just don't know how to "adult"...

I'm stuck in my twenties and don't Feel like I'm about to hit the age where I'm only twenty five years away from retirement.

Unless that age has been upped and I didn't realise it..

So for those who hit the fabulously filthy forties how did you celebrate it?

I 'celebrated' with a quiet meal at my fave country pub - I'm just a simple boy and can't be doing with a big palaver!

Have a good day whenever it is - is today the day? If so Happy birthday!

By crying, I just went for a meal with the then hubby. I don't like birthdays at the best of times but the milestone ones just seem worse x

I was sent on a cookery course to Betty's ...I believe it was purely for benefit of others but I had a great time

And I'm now 47....and celebrating this years in a club or possibly a field if I'm working...

Growing old=compulsory

Growing up=optional

Preston

A holiday and my female friends organised a surprise lunch at my favourite restaurant which opened just for me. I hate surprises but I loved every minute, well apart from the size of the cake needed to accommodate the amount of candles

The big 40 is just another year tbh didn't feel any different to me just went for a drink and a meal same as every year. Only as old as you feel so they say, although having said that I'm 45 next week and realise that's damn close to the big 50 and you start disappearing off a lot of people's age ranges on profiles

in my 20s i was scared of being 30, by the time that age came round it wasn't so bad. now i'm in my 40s life is great and i wasn't even scared of getting this old.

not sure about the next decades, kinda scared of them coz i've realised if i live to the same age as my grandparents then half my life has gone already.

Bristol

I stayed in and had a little grumpy day. Then had a day off the diet and ate all the bad things.

Not meeting

I loved turning 40 & spent the night at an Xtasia FFFF with loads of forumites & a massive flamingo cake. I've used every excuse to celebrate.

I turn 41 in 3 weeks I don't want my party to end but am looking forward to a lovely night with Frank
