Last, always last....

Would be so wrong to take the heat of the boiling water to ruin the infusion of the tea bag....

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

There's no debate:

Teapot tea - milk first (stops your best bone china from cracking)

Builders tea in a mug - milk last (as putting it in first lowers water temp and your tea can't steep properly)

Usually last. But oddly, if I was making a cuppa in a hotel room using those little long-life milk pots then it's first.

After being introduced to putting milk into my tea, I can say get that out and drip some acacia honey instead.

Manuka honey if you're feeling rich.

Tea from a pot with a cup and saucer should be milk in first and that's all there is to it x

"Why drink tea when you can drink rum??"

There speaks someone full of wisdom

Milk first or last - I really couldn't care less. I'd just be disappointed it wasn't coffee. Or rum.

"There's no debate:

Actually completely incorrect, it used to be milk first to stop inferior cups from breaking and then it was last to show just how high quality your china was,

There used to be a saying 'a milk first kind of person' to donate lower classes who wouldnt be able to afford decent china.

I'm very aware, because of my upbringing, that without doubt it's a dash of milk in first followed by freshly brewed tea, from leaves not bags in a tea pot with another smaller tea pot full of hot water to add in case the tea stews.

Then again I rebel and add milk last and drink coffee anyway

Is that the sound of my ancestors turning in their graves??!!
