I'm struggling to think what's closer to Reading? Hampshire played at Basingstoke in 2010 ..

I have a cunning plan to make them think it's haunted for this very reason.

Football: Pride Park. Was there last night

Cricket: The County Ground is hardly a "stadium", so I'll say Trent Bridge.

"Are there any stadiums in ireland outside dublin?"

Galway United play in the League of Ireland Premier Division so I'm guessing their ground (I don't know what it's called but I'm sure Google will!) would be the nearest football (soccer) stadium.

I'm sure you know that Croke Park is primarily a Gaelic sports stadium although they did host rugby and football while the Aviva was being redeveloped

The Aviva Stadium was built on the site of the old Lansdowne Rd stadium that was demolished in 2007
