My advice - don't bother with Krypton. Stick with Jarvis.

TVaddons has most the popular addons in its repository. ..it does not have spectre fork though....but it is easy to install if you Google it

I find fusion from tvaddons works well...but that's just my view

TVaddons has most the popular addons in its repository. ..it does not have spectre fork though....but it is easy to install if you Google it

A little tip I have noticed on 17 or 17.1.

If you have missed the last part of something you've been watching....press the ok button on remote....turn the mouse on.......then manoeuvre the mouse to roughly were you left it....click OK and it will play from that point

It used to always crash when I tried this on older versions of kodi

It appears to be a build....look into it on Google. .....I prefer the fusion build personally.

We have just found the one that you recommended... t95m 2g eBay for £35.99. It says sunvell t95m TV box 2 gigabyte + 8 gigabyte quad-core 64bit Android 6.0 smart 4k HD media player.

I'm going to wait a couple of minutes to see if you can confirm this is the right one you would recommend. And then I'm going to buy it...

Yes that's the one I have....but is it from the UK or China? If it's the latter you could incur duty charges...so I'd recommend only to buy from UK seller

Just a heads up for a new addons I've found "sportie" another live TV and sports. You can access it through "indigo" from tvaddons.

A lot of the channels seem to work but most are in HD. ..so you will need a decent broadband speed for them to work without buffering

I used to use Kodi on an Nvidia Shield mainly to watch the 3pm Saturday Football. I gave up in the end as the quality was usually pretty poor and what worked would change from week to week.

Is it any better now or any way to get a more premium experience from it? I'm something of a Video and Audiophile so accept it may just not be suited to me.

TV addons indigo.....search for the thread " new kodi add on" and you'll see how to install fusion....which is renamed indigo

personally .. struggled like mad with different ' builds' etc .. landed accross this chap on Youtube who used to knock his own builds together buy has since stopped .. calls himself 'Top tutorials Kodi' .. since then havent had worry a bout a thing .. bloke is right on the money with everything .. latest 17.3 Kodi Krypton .. and now got the ' Hard nox ' build .. its blimmin ace .. check it out .. well worth a look on his youtube page .. :D

It can be a number of things like your BB speed...or the available links.

I hope you always choose gvidoeo links when available?

It could be the build your using no longer being supported.

I choose to build my own and just add the repositories for each addon.

I'm currently using elysium,covernant,genesis reborn, UK turks and Bob unlimited.

I'm would unintelligible kodi and reinstall 17.3 then search for the repositories for the above addons

PS all are working great for me but elysium goes down every now and then for a day or two and UK turks only gives two links to most videos so sometime can be hit and miss.

If you have a stick unfortunately there isn't a lot you can do about it as the processing power is poor. Sometimes clearing the cache can help. A box is much better

I've found a few good addons and two are easy to install if you have the Jesus box repository. They are showbox arise and flixnet...both very similar to the old exodus.

The third one is in the colossus repository and is called bennu. Which is from one of the members of the old pheonix addon.

All are working and update themselves

We've got an android box with kodi, but showbox etc run seperately not under kodi ( I bought it pre installed - don't know if it's a 'build'). Showbox has always kept working fine, fingers crossed.

I don't use builds anymore as they fail too often so built my own from the direct repositories Google latest colossus,covenant, elysium, uk turks, and genesis reborn repositories. It will take less then a half hour to install them but they all work.

Ifeel you download kodi 17.3 and put it on a USB stick....I would unintelligible the current version you have especially if it has a dodgy build on it!

Put the stick in box and reinstall it through your file Explorer app and start afresh

Be careful following a law change in April 2017 anyone found using a kodi to watch payable content for free is liable to up to 10 yrs in prison.

It hasn't happened yet but someone will have to be first and they'll be made an example of.

Downloaded it yesterday for someone else. Thought there were problems at first because every time I put a build from ares onto it nothing played, since put the 'platinum' build on it and it's stable and very smooth. I personally have Krypton 17.3 with my own custom addons which is working just fine, based it on the pulse build but tailored to what I wanted.

Google for the repositories for covenant, elysium, uk turks, bennu, flixnet and showbox reborn.

All them addons get regular updates covenant elysium flixnet and showbox reborn are all what they call a fork from exodus..so look and work very similar to it.

Bennu is from one of the pheonix team so very like that.

And UK turks is well UK turks lol.

But look for the dates on your search for the repositories as some change so make sure you are getting the most recent address to install it from

With exodus ive found different builds work better than others. I've recently changed from nemisis build to covenant and its working fine for now but apparently exodus might not be about for much longer

You need to steer away from builds and just put the addon repositories you need...look to my posts from a few days back and all them addons work great without them being tied to one build.

Takes you less the half a hour to put them in all on separately. .but they work better

I had to a fresh install a few weeks back. Took a while for it to load up. Had to reinstall a couple of apps.

I use sports devil for the sky sports channels, cricfree and 500kb links.had to reinstall that from an older update and follow instructions I found online to get the right add ins from a new repository after creating a zip file with noobsandnerds...portal.

I still have exodus, though I think the Devs left if I remember rightly, you might need a diff repo for exodus since tvaddons went , covenant about as well which I think is an exodus clone.

I'm running no limits build on main device and exodus definitely there and working.

We use the (nolimits) build on 16.1 Kodi & have also installed Firetvguru which let's you load SPMC in 17.4 plus the build wizard so you have in theory two Kodi builds.

The Firetvguru also has a wizard the load Mobdro, Showbox & MegaHD.

When builds stop working you simply reload the wizards.

I am not very technical so a lot of what you are talking about on this thread really goes over my head.

I'm using kodi with covenant and showbox at the moment.

Showbox will load one day and then not load the other and I don't understand why, it's very frustrating as it that has always been my favourite for ease of use, covenant often will work but not always and can be quite laggy. There is no problem with the home wifi and it is a little frustrating. I wish I could sort it out!

If anyone knows an easy answer that doesn't involve a lot of technical stuff please help!

regularly cleaning your cache helps with some kodi glitches ... but the truth is that the add-ons and the sites that they scrape are under constant cyber attack by the big players such as sky, amazon, netfix etc .... basically they are not getting the results they want in the time frame they demand through legal means ... so they are resorting to cyber crime to destabilise the streaming add-ons. it's cat and mouse

I’ve heard this was the case. If that was the case I’d be cancelling my Sky, Amazon & Netflix (as I have subscribed to all 3!)

Just a little tip.

When on covenant...after it only finds about 4 or 5 shitty links! Hit the back button and search again. Keep repeating and normally you will get around a 100+ links popping up.

It almost seems like they are being blocked but they get through if you persevere

Just done the latest walking dead and got 88 links up. I opted for (FMOVIES6) (DL) in SD and it buffered up for a minute then worked fine

I've just done the most recent episode..I got 300+ links and chose watchstraps (SD) CDN MP4.

I had 10 Openload pair a device to cancel whilst it was getting the link.

But it found it and I run it for 10 minutes without a hitch

on SKY users need to disable 'broadband shield'

on BT it's disable 'smart setup' & 'parental controls'

on EE it's disable 'content lock/orange safeguard'

on TalkTalk it's disable 'talktalk home safe'

on Virgin Media it's disable 'virgin media web safe'

on Plusnet it's disable 'plusnet safeguard'

on Vodafone it's disable 'vodafone content control'

You can sideload a vpn to the fire stick that hides your isp. But kodi is not how it used to be. You can use apps but won't mention here in case it gets taken down for everything kodi does

Yeah I got a email off sky to say they had turned my shield on a few months back... couldn't get bugger all.

Phoned them and told them to turn it off as I had my own security...went straight back to normal
