Working in tandom with a friend whose allowing the ladies to have theirs at the same time now.

What are those 4 top of your list things guys that drive you to want to meet her?

I'll start it off.

1. POSITIVE attitude to things...

2. A Gentle spirit, with deep passion, content in themselves and who they are.

3 . Clearly interested in me, listening, hearing and able to hold good conversation, willing to disagree without negative judgemental language.

4. Humour. Can laugh at themselves first, then with others. Positive satire or sarcasm tickles me.

5. EYES. Yes ones to jump into... a pic of eyes helps on a profile... its the window to the soul. They tell a lot about the inner person just by looking in

(Hopefully having a 5th in there pleases everyone now)

Very interesting to read that for most of you knowing the woman and being mentally compatible seems to come before the physical attributes. Not saying you'd all want an ugly woman but pretty packaging isn't your top priority.

One main reason for these threads. There are some theories out there often created by repeat without evidence. Connection isn't much about looks or physical appearance...its about who the person is... character matters. Attraction is more about who. Men are often seen as simple... may I say we're far from it as you eloquently have posted. I hope this because positive for many....and not just women. We guys can learn alot here. May much new fun begin...

I think from personal experience that maybe I just met a lot of very shallow men. And lots of women have had similar experiences. I'm lucky that I've now got a man that loves me as I am, but can still appreciate how it feels to find that attraction returned. I think for the most part the men on here are more interested in the whole woman than the shell outside. In a society that's mainly driven by looking like supermodels its a refreshing change that they seem to have higher opinions of us than what the media says we are . X

Number 1 is a good one for all, if we find its always us instigating chat even if once done the chat is good we'll gradually lose interest and remove you to the back burner to see if you ever get back to us as we'll assume the want isn't there enough. Happens all the time though unfortunately.

How do you know what 'most' men are thinking. I'd say experiences making you cynical.... but mind reading is certainly a great gift if one truely has it. I'd love some to understand women, but reality is each are different and should be treated as such in my book.

Beauty and the Beast comes to mind....

Have a look in town next time you ladies are out shopping and watch couples.... how many times have you thought what does she or he see in them? Does that answer it......personality trumps looks any day for me.

I guess it may be the difference between a hook up meet where looks more important as personality will play little in the meet...and something that engages the mind and arousal for more than a fuck. Bit crude but I think one gets the gist.
