outdated to buy a chick a drink at a bar/club?

Would it offend you if a guy offered to buy you a drink?

Tbh I prefer going dutch but i have been known to offer getting drinks for chicks I like, especially once tipsy.

I tend to avoid the ones who hear a bottle pop and become your best friend, until it's finished (some strippers and wideos)

Also how do you get out of buying a drink for a chick your not into who asks you to get her a drink and what's your stance on this?

I'm happy to be bought a drink by a guy if he offered and I wanted to continue a conversation. Equally I'd offer a drink back. I'd never expect a guy to buy me one though. Or vice versa.

It wouldn't offend me as long as he accepted my offer of a drink in return.

If I asked someone to buy me a drink (never going to happen) and he refused I hope I would have the good grace to pull my big girl knickers up and accept his rebuff with a smile. Then creep out to the ladies and cry

Happy to accept but also happy to buy a round. I would accept one from someone I had no interest in chatting too.

Aye the chicks I know are the same as you that way Ella, they don't mind getting a round in as long as it's reciprocated.

For clarity I don't think that a man would never refuse to buy me a drink...I mean I would never ask

I think its a nice thing to do. I was out with friends recently and a guy sent a round of drinks to our table with a note wishing us a good night. He left shortly after and we didn't even get to thank him. I thought it was weird at first but then realised it was pretty cool, he gave our night a lift which probably gave his one too.

Chick (noun)

1.Informal

a young woman.

"she's a great-looking chick"

2.The nicest way to refer to any female. Used respectfully like this in Australia. A completely non-derrogatory comment, that in general (most chick's I've talked to) is non-offensive to women and better than most alternative's.

If I take a girl out... i take her out. If she asks to split it and is adamant then I will but she has to be a little firm about it.

I don't ask to buy a girl a drink as an 'in' tend to use other things.

In terms of buy me a drink... I avoid bars were this can happen. When it does happen I say... nah am ok ya know. It's a polite fuck off where am from.

One of , if not our favourite night out is to visit a busy fun pub and my wife will find a guy she fancies to flirt and play with for the evening .

The one thing we insist on though is that we don't look for guys to buy her drinks . If they offer, she always says she will buy her own .
