People you report do fab tell them username?

Reported someone on here for something that I really dont think should be allowed on the site - unfortunately profile is still here so no action obvioulsy taken - whole different issue!!....

But what I want to know is does fab tell the people whos reported them? Its just that now the person I reported has blocked me - I have never messaged them or spoke to them and just find it a tad of a coincidence that I am now blocked from viewing them!

There are many reasons why people chose to block...

How long do you think this site would last if admin was so indiscrete?

However... Just because you are paranoid... Doesnt mean people arent out to get you...

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

Admin

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

It may well be that whatever you found wrong on their profile the admin brought it to their attention and asked them to fix it. It won't then be a hge leap for them to think that someone who has looked at them recently was the reporter.

PS. Admin don't tell the person who they have been reported by.

If Admin have disabled an account it will look the same to you as if they have blocked you.

OP, fab are not into naming and shaming. Any profile/person you report is dealt with confidentially.

The a/c you have reported may have been suspended? Or the profile owner may have noticed you looking a few times (via 'looked at me') and decided to stop you hence the block.

Don't worry about it, life is too short.

ok coolio....more wanted to check wether issue had been dealt with as felt bit strongly and that when noticed been blocked viewing profile....have asked cpl i know on here to look for me, turns out hasnt...oh well lifes too short as you say will move on!

It may well have been dealt with, just not the way you were expecting or wanted.

But everything is confidential as to who is doing the reporting and any action taken, as you can probably understand x

I cant understand why you would want to check their profile after reporting them ? move on

correct to last comment - I thought what I had reported would have meant a ban then saw profile still here so wanted to check! that was all!
