I have gone to add my pearls of wisdom to a thread, but then thought better of it and didn't bother....

I wonder if anyone else does this too?

sometimes I even post whatever it was, but then I remove it directly after

This! My typed and posted to typed and discarded ratio is seriously lopsided.

I also tend to read an entire thread before responding and won't bother if the point I was going to made has been made already. As often it was made more eloquently than I ever could.

Yes, a few times a week. I normally am quite good but occasionally I realise even I couldn't phrase it in a way that stops a holiday so write it and then close the tab.

Yes I do it often. For a start I don't like timeouts, sometimes I realise I was just about to be a cunt for no good reason and sometimes I just think it's pointless because they'll take no notice/will mis interpret something/won't get my sense of humour etc

i do it coz i know mostly nobody gives a shit really.

been staying away from the forums for that reason as well and chatting on chat sites instead. but i always get swept back into the forums when i come on here to reply to friends.

It's not so much losing interest as my general barbed comment could be seen by certain people to be aimed at them & I can't be arsed with the grief that may entail if I posted it. Whether or not it might have actually been aimed at certain people i'm not saying, but usually it isn't.

But then we all know of you've been chatting to a female on here and then make a general comment in a thread it must be about them right?
