salisbury

I see rather than use a tiny piece of cow they're going to help the extinction of thousands of species including the oranutan by using palm oil. Nice one.

"I thought a monkey was £500 It Is but do u no where the saying originates from?"

Yes. In Laandon, the going rate for a pet Monkey was historically £500, so if somebody said

'I can't adam and eve it, I've fell down the apple and pears and ripped me whistle and flute'

'Don't worry, treacle, you can have this one for a monkey'

He'd know what they meant.

Is that it?

Back in the day in India the british soldiers wage was 500 rubels and a 500 note had the monkey on it hence a monkey.

I think that being in India it might have been Rupee's as Roubles would be hard to spend.
