The days when a mobile phone consisted of a 2 pence piece and a big red box, or more recently the days when a night in the pub meant talking to whoever you stood next to, not texting or calling someone in a different pub.

Proper 4 seasons a year, where in summer we had the sun and could play with our friends until late without a care in the world. And winters where we had a good snowfall and building snow men, having snow ball fights. Getting your gloves wet so had to get them off and being given a pair of old socks to put over our hands.

My Raleigh burner tuff2 with the skyway mag wheels. Getting blisters on your fingers playing track and field in the arcade. The joy of finding my dads porn video and watching it when home from school for lunch and remembering where to rewind it to so he would not know. Tv remotes that were on a 20ft cable that you had to plug into the tele.

Playing jet Pac on my Sinclair spectrum 64k. Being able to go out with your mates in the school holidays to play and only coming home when it got dark or you got hungry and knowing your mum was not worried about you ....

I could go on forever
