Someone else's facetime or speaker phone calls is so cringeworthy!

Why do people think we want to hear their stilted, half interested conversations?

(the earwigging was unavoidable as I am in the car with them and have been staying in the same villa as them for 2 weeks)

I get it on the train a lot and it's annoying. It's not going to keep me awake at night mind you, but hey, it's all a matter of perspective.

Someone I know ( relative ) was telling me ( on her mobile ) all about her divorce, solicitor and visit to her life coach ......

then calmly told me she was 'at her stop'.........

I was fooking dumbfounded !

Won't interrupt my bed time activities either but I am on the last leg of a long journey home and was making a passing observation

had an elderly uncle who used to be on trains a lot, he would ,very loudly ,join in peoples phone conversations,in the quiet carriage, and act bemused if they objected, saying he'd just assumed as they were telling everyone, they were inviting them to join the conversation...wish i had the nerve to do that!

I feel the same about people who play music through their phone on buses.

Get a pair of headphones, you cretin!
