That's beautiful. There are some people on here who talk about the number of people they have been with as if it were some kind of achievement. For me to love one person and be true to them even when times get rough and temptation comes your way. That is an achievement. I can't do it myself but take my hat off to those who've got it right. Good to have you on the forum.

There will not be fourth time. I fear that part of me has been destroyed by the reprehensible acts of those who I loved.

Nietzsche said 'that which does not destroy us makes us stronger'. I believe that, in love, ' the love that does not kill you changes you forever'.

i get that.

true love changed me for the better. then my last ex i loved him and he fucked me up and it's changed me again, i learned a lot about my past, and myself, from that love.

i'll still give love freely but won't expect anything in return except respect.
