suffolk/essex/cambridge

So arranged a meet at lunch time today with a couple lots of chat then off I go to the meeting point.. being polite I messaged to say I was on the road and looking for the exact location then they go off line and don't respond ...

Please people don't waste others time this site is there for fun if your hear to just dick around so to speak go else where your ruining it for the others..

I will wait to hear the excuse before I name and shame this couple especially as they go on about being messed around when on the site previously

There could be a perfectly legitimate reason for not showing, give them time and if you don't hear from them after they've been back online, that's when I'd report them.

Its just one of those things that happens here. I was stood up on Monday by someone I've met before. Luckily I was meeting in a pub, and even more luckily it was Folk night, and the pub had some very decent real ales. I may not have got a shag but I had a good evening anyway.

I almost missed a meet simply from meet location confusion.

We had agreed to meet at Costa coffee in a large shopping centre.

Both sitting in different Costas Txting each other both convinced each of us was a no show.

The centre has 5 Costa shops !!

Well they need to learn to communicate a little better then don't they! I very much doubt he has shot himself in the foot,probably last minute nerves by them or fake.

Oh I agree communication is key here and the likelihood is one of the two scenarios you suggest (which is why I said "have a legitimate reason" as a caveat in my post) just think until the facts are known or a suitable time has passed without communication (which it hadn't when the thread was first posted, that it's probably not the best move to post it on the forums.

Maybe not,but we all need an outlet for our annoyances don't we and this is probably the best place. I'm sure lots of us know how annoying it is when someone goes quiet on the last minute and for the op that was the last minute!

I always facetime or skype before meeting to ensure they are genuine and if they are still eager to meet then it usually goes ahead. Its those i have met a few times before that let me down.

Me n my fb had a wasted trip last night to meet a couple who gave us exact details of where to meet n when we got there she messaged us saying she had come on n couldn't meet us hmmm... then today she messaged my fb asking us to go meet them tonight needless to say blocked now! Some people just get kicks from arranging meets they have no intention to meet up with but hey ho u live n learn n move on

Costa is the most indescript and easily confused location you could ever suggest.

There are about 10 in my City Centre.
