BBC News:

"A missing Indonesian man was found dead inside the body of a python, according to local police.

In the search for the 25-year-old, police told BBC Indonesia that they had found a huge snake they suspected had swallowed the man.

The reticulated python, reported to be 7m (23ft)-long, was cut open and the man's body was found."

Sorry if you already have a phobia....

Anybody scared of snakes and spiders??

Bet the snakes were there before the people. Shame they killed the snake, I'm sure the scoreline in deaths is still very much in the people's favour.

I wonder why they killed the snake just to cut it open to see IF the missing man was there.....unless the man's shoes were poking out of it's mouth

I think snakes are fascinating and beautiful, like most reptiles, but spiders terrify me

They said they could see the outline of his shoes through the snakes skin. I guess if someone I knew had been eaten by a snake I'd want the body back, it's just a shame.

Nah, it's just that they were a decent pair of Huaraches that a relative fancied, if they'd been a pair on Lonsdale slip-ons from Sports Direct they wouldn't have bothered...

Ahhhh right, I didn't know as not seen the story....That's the risks I guess of living in a place where such giant snakes live

no matter

Not at all scared. In my my son's bedroom he had 2 red tailed boa as thick as mans thigh. They bred had 31 babies. He also had 4 royal pythons one of which is now 21 and just had babies x6 on halloween day and two black mexican kings which ended up in the garage cos they stank. They kept escaping lol sometimes for months.

He now has two more female royals and one male one of which laid 5 eggs last week. Madness .
