for about an hour and mostly work on my upper body. i walk to the gym and it's over a mile away so i reckon the bottom half doesn't need doing plus my knees are dodgy as fuck.

Both of us 0 but are very active as we don't drive and walk for miles and miles.

4/5 times a week - only do classes though you wouldn't catch me boring myself to death on a cross trainer! I work so much harder in classes than I would on a machine unsupervised the instructors at pure gym are awesome!!

I've trained 6 days a week for 37 years. LOL! Most of that time I was a competitive athlete.

The last year zero. Went back to basics after some time off due to illness and do some push ups and a few other things every now and again at home. That's it.

Never,I hate the gym.I have one or two rugby training sessions a week and a match most weekends as well as coaching an U10 squad every weekend during the season and occasionally refereeing.I also have an active and physically demanding job,all of these things keep me reasonably fit and keeps the podge at bay so got no need to visit a gym

However its not to exercise but to have a sports massage to ease the pain in my trapeze muscle and to sort out the tingling and numbness in my arm, shoulder and fingers caused by the damaged trapeze muscle.

Gym maybe 1 or 2 times a week plus 1 HIIT class, plus 1 class for stretching/suppleness, and 2 to 3 runs per week between 2 and 15 miles (upper mileage being increased monthly )

Bodyweight lifting exercises 2-3 times a week for 35 mins at home depending on how busy I am. Swimming once a week and now the weather is a bit better Ive been skipping in the back garden for 30 mins once a week. I need to vary it or I get bored, couldn't run everyday for example.

Thats more for gaining mass not losing weight.

But weight is almost always lost in the kitchen not the gym.

Trying to work up a calorie deficit is way harder than trying to cut one out of your food intake

There's no such thing as over doing it. The misconception people have with over doing it is they aren't eating enough so they lose weight/gains and think they are over doing it when in reality all they need to do is eat more. You are what you eat essentially

Cheers I put it down to a mixture of self employed work related stress. An hour of running around for footy after work on a wednesday and sporadic trips to the coast for a bit of surf too. Oh, and the occasional 5-ish hour sexercise session helps immensely

At the moment I'm going about every 4-5 days to do weights and core. During he winter I was going just to use the treadmill more as a break from running in the dark and cold than anything else but now running outdoors more as the weather's better but still doing the occasional speed session on the treadmill. And as part of my training for Snowdon trail marathon I do at least one lunchtime session a week on the staircase thing to try and stimulate long slow climbing

3 times a week. 30min/6k treadmill run followed by stretches and weights for upper body. I've been experimenting with spin instead of running but it's not going well..

Average 3 times a week. Changed my attitude this year. Seeing changes in my shape.
