Let's agree to disagree.

People have to pay for things they actually need to stay alive.

Whereas condoms are free....makes no sense but hey, just my opinion

I think tampons should be free personally. Im sure some women would agree.

Free condoms if only to prevent stds or unwanted pregnancies. Its sexual health which is as important as your general health. Also there are some women that cannot use any other form of contraception.

And if you're a real penny pincher you can get 18 own brand for 99p in savers

Interesting point there, which got me thinking.

It was announced yesterday that the NHS are going to stop offering some things on prescription such as gluten-free foods, as they are readily available elsewhere.

Really. Are we going to make diabetics start paying for their insulin?

Both my brother and my father have Coeliac disease - meaning that they can not have ANY food containg gluten.

What cost to the NHS if they get ill?

Apparently, the NHS also prescribe Nicotine patches to smokers.

Really?

So suffers of Coeliacs disease, which is a hereditary condition, will get less help from the NHS, but those who have chosen to smoke or choose to have sex can get help for free?

Ah, I can hear the Labour Party calling out for more NHS funding already.

Let's not throw money at it, let's fix it instead

After you've used one just turn it inside out, then you can use it again. Halves the cost.

Or take them home, give them a good rinse and roll them up again in a bit of kitchen foil for next time.
