If you are meeting someone new?

Just wondering.

Not really, but if they have some nice ones then it kind of bodes well that they're more likely to turn up

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Yes and no.

I like to see the tick and if there is a friendly verification, rather than a very sexual one, that gives me a sense that the person isn't socially awkward with at least one other person. But, I don't make a judgement whether to meet or not based on verifications.

I know some have been refused meets because they have had a verification from me so matters to some.

I like to receive verifications as memory of that encounter, at socials or more intimately. They make me smile. If they disappear I know that person has left or blocked me.

Not really. Everyone was new at some point and had none. If they have a whole load of crude ones it might put ne off but fun friendly ones are good.

A world of my own

Its always nice to read good things about yourself written by someone else. However I don't display many because I'm quite a private person. I always try to leave them for people I have met. I certainly don't ever go into graphic details as I find that tacky.

I find verifications left by guys quite amusing. Most of the time they are almost an advert for themselves to tell the world how good they are.

Number and content aren't that important really as I'm not part of that meet.

Definitely yes it matters. You can tell a lot by the quantity and quality of the verifications on someone's profile. I don't mind if someone hasn't got any either but if I look at someone's profile with hundreds of veri's telling the rest of fab they've been fucked here, there and everywhere by everyone I just shut down the conversation, end of as it's a massive turn off for me.

By (user no longer on site)

Not really. I may have a quick browse if there are any to read but if I like the person it doesn't matter if they have never met anyone before.

What I do find amusing is when you follow a veri trail back to someone you've met and realise they con everyone with the same line

If they were very new it would maybe not matter. In that case we would arrange to meet a club where we would maybe be going anyway.

If they had been on longer we would wonder more why they hadn't got a veri and would be less likely to arrange anything.

no i never read them Op

in all honesty i see veries as pimping out your meets to attract more meets plus who's going to post a bad veri

no one id rather talk to someone who refused to give a veri to someone i was thinking of meeting

now that would be far more insightful than reading veries because i just see them as two people patting each other on the back saying that went great because they don't want to say otherwise

Hull but travel regularly

If people have been here a while I expect them to have the green tick. I like to read beteeen the lines of what's written, what's not written and if you know someone meets yet has a lack of veris as it can all tell you a lot. I may still meet but my initial thoughts have been proved right time and time again

Makes sense now.

I "know someone" who had two planned social meets cancel and block after he'd had a social with someone else.

Weird fuckers. I'd kind of understand if the first meet was a shag, but it was so obviously purely a social.

No, I go by how they are with us. Have met couples with good veri's who things didn't go well, yet met a new couple with no veri's that was great. They're not always a good way to judge how your meet will go.

We read them to gain a different insight not as a 'review'.

Some people have lots of veris like ' we met bob and mildred for a drink, very sexy couple, can't wait til next time for a play meet'.

Well that's great but some people have loads of these but never the follow up. Their prerogative, but will anything ever happen?

Nope. If they've been on a while I prefer to see they at least have a proof of existence tick but I've met more people who don't display any than otherwise. I don't think mine have made the slightest bit of difference either; for most of my time on here I haven't displayed them.

Same most of mine are off bar 2.

(reasons for that).

But if someone wanted to see them I'd switch them on. So far it hasn't been an issue for me either.

As someone else on this thread said, if someone comes across as friendly and easygoing on their veri's it's a good sign to us. It gets our attention far more than if their sexual performance is described in great detail.

Also we've been trying to sort out an MMF on here and have been messed around a bit by a couple of guys. For that reason we're now only talking to those that are verified as having taken part in an MMF so yes it matters to us at the moment.

I like to think the verifications I write reflect the person and their personality.

I wouldn't dream of writing one that was sexually graphic, private things should stay private, in any case all that would show is that we connected sexually, it's no guarantee the next person will too.

Hopefully the verifications I've received show a little of my personality and that I'm not an axe murderer.

Although there was this one meet......
