people uploading the same pics

i do like a peruse (aka perve) at the newly uploaded public pics

having been here a few weeks now that some people upload the same pictures that they did a couple of weeks earlier

other than the obvious reason that they have removed them then re-thought it and added them on again, i am thinking are some doing it so that it appears that their pictures were taken more recently than they infact were ?

Probably just for the reason of they will be on the list of recent pics and will get more people looking at their profile

That's one reason. The other is that your pic then appears at the front of the gallery for site supporters, making you popular again.

yeah this practice is very common.

i think its to keep people in the public eye by constantly adding the same pics

I do beleive it maybe plain old attention seeking if I'm honest.

Everytime we upload a new public gallery pic our mail goes through the roof!!!

....these people may be playing to a new audience as new folk are looking all of the time.... they re-use the same pics because they 'worked' last time and can't be fussed about taking new ones.

I'll put my trilby hat and magnifying glass away now lol.

Oh, btw... we have most certainly never ever been guilty of the above crime. We have enough mail without encouraging more

have seen a few profiles where the same pic has been uploaded again ...

but the original - whether uploaded days, weeks or even months before - is still also on the profile

Yup, its a tactical thing, seen it recently, each time i have a gallery browse in the morning, same people, same pics on there.
