Battle of Little Big Horn. What a sad story !

Another tale of the natives being forced from their homeland and murdered for land and resources (Gold) in this case.

One of the loved Chiefs (Sitting Bull) was murdered a while afterwards for simply doing a native dance that the Americans didn't like as they thought it may incite violent behaviour from the natives?

They killed him as an example to the natives to make them cooperate etc.

It reminded me that things aren't that much different today really?

Look at Iraq for instance?

Just watched a documentary on it on sky.

Was very interesting but a tragic story.

I'd liken it more to Israel and Palestine tbh.

If you found that interesting try reading Bury my heart at Wounded Knee by Dee Brown..

It tells the truth about the systematic slaughter and removal of American Indians from their homelands onto reservations

I quite like looking into American Indian History, all the differences between the tribes and they were indeed treated sickeningly when they signed up for "peace".

They didn't stand a chance really.

London

That's expected.

The romans cheering the gladiators fighting each other in the coloseum.

We cheer the fighters in UFC/MMA match.

Yes for all the supposed tolerance and equality we are led to believe we have today ?

I don't think are actually that much different than we was before?
