It seems to be a commonly held opinion that they are.

Although why anybody would think women from an entire area of the country were more or less fun than those from another I don't know.

Some genuinely believe that people from the north are better in many ways to those of us in the south. They say Northeners are friendlier, hardier and work harder than us. I've never found this to be so but then I would say that wouldn't I ?
