We love to meet single guys , and our current favourite scenario is where we meet a guy in a pub , and he and my wife get to know each other over a drink or two , before we move on to their place or a quiet spot for some naughtiness .

Strangely , there seems to be a distinct shortage of men willing to be seen out in public . We post a meet , get lots of replies , but nine out of ten don't want to meet in a local pub . Replies vary from they will accommodate , meet at a dogging site , meet at a quiet spot , split hotel costs etc ....

So when we say we like to meet in a pub , have a drink , flirt a bit it all goes quiet . Such a shame , as the meets we have always go really well , and great fun is had by all .

I wonder if the guys who go quiet are in relationships ? We never had this problem when we were into dogging ......

It could just be they want to avoid questions if they are seen. Maybe they are not open about swinging with their friends and would rather avoid people asking who they were meeting with rather than lie.

This is exactly how I suss them out as well, everything is going great until you try and make arrangements for somewhere public (and I mean any pub that is city centre)

They normally go quiet or say 'oh, I thought I would just come round to yours'

This is essentially a site for convince though. Ppl don't have the time to converse with everyone that msgs them, it's unrealistic to expect that.

Not all guys on here are genuinely single I get that ! but some guys are but get thrown in with the rest of them because they can't accommodate or are wary of meeting where people might know them but all that been said I see your point op

Surely meeting a couple is less suspicious than meeting a single person. Ppl are more likely to jump to the conclusion it's some kind of date if it's just two ppl but three ppl no, well I know I wouldn't assume that. And it's easy enough to just say before hand that if you see someone you know then you're going to be introduced as some friends.

They haven't got into the social dside of swinging. When I first started I thought "wayhey, easy sex!". But it didn't take me long to get into the social side when just speaking to people in clubs. I'm always happy to meet in a pub or club to see if there's chemistry, I never expect to just whip my nob out and get some, although it has happened at the right place and time

The guys who can't accommodate can't be single thing has been covered so many times, there are loads of other totally valid reasons for not accommodating same as there are for women not accommodating.

The OP's point of guys not meeting in public is a more interesting one though as I cant think of so many reasons why you wouldn't.

I can accommodate sometimes although It's very very rare that I do and I'm very single, but I have no problem meeting anyone in public. I usually suggest meeting in a pub or somewhere equally as public as I would expect a woman to maybe feel safer that way, if I met couples I would be happy meeting them there too.

I'm not sure if it's even my thing yet as personally i wish to meet single women and then explore the club scene with her. What comes after that hasn't entered my mind yet, but you guys, if i were ever to think of going down those avenues would most certainly be going about things the way i would want them. Meet in a pub for beer and a chance to relax before any shenanigans.. sounds perfect!!! I can't even see why it would be an issue having a drink in the local... it's not as if we'd be stood around naked shouting 'we're swingers is it' ??

I do agree with completely. I am single (otherwise why would I have my face splashed on here), but living in a house share with others who do not participate in a swinging lifestyle, out of respect I don't throw it in their faces so plan accordingly.

As for meeting in public, a social meet is always fun.

I regularly go out for dinner with a couple I met on a similar site and don't see an issue (apart from the fact that she's my age and he's old enough to be our dad so people probably have a very different idea about our relationship than the truth, lol), am actually less at ease being seen out by someone I know with a single girl, cos if I'm seen with another meet a week later and both stories get round work or friends, people will start asking which one I'm seeing and I'll never hear the end of it, but I know the odds of this are pretty slim so it doesn't dwell on my mind for long.

In my opinion fab just wouldn't be worth the hassle for most genuinely single men. A single man can find casual sex infinitely more easily on a dating site or app than on here.

Of course there will be a few exceptions, and men that are interested in joining the swinging scene rather than just casual sex, but the majority of men on here are probably attached.

For attached men fab offers a degree of anonymity that dating sites/apps don't and so makes the massive inequity between the sexes tolerable. The vast majority of genuine single men would very quickly get frustrated by fab and move on.

Dating sites are filled with Snapchat filters and attention seeking kids who couldn't be sexy if they tried, also many seriously lacking a sense of humour and up themselves. Way more laid back people on here who know how to talk and not after Instagram followers. Love the scene and won't turn back even if I ended up meeting someone (hopefully also in the scene).

I always prefer to meet somewhere public first whether it be local pub or coffee bar if no chemistry say your farewells no harm done if there is then the flirting is all part of the build up and yes I have a single and a couples profile and she knows all about my single profile so it makes no difference if I get spotted as I've nothing to hide, she even sometimes arranges the meets for me

Now whether that was because he wasn't really single, or he really didn't want to be seen in public with a female 14 years his senior is beyond me, but again he was the one doing the chasing.....so sometimes it is just a 'fuck knows' conclusion
