It's a gorgeous day down here in the South - sun is shining and feeling warm

decided to take a lovely walk along the coastal path from one beach to another and currently sat enjoying a cuppa

Sometimes I just love being alone, gives me time to ponder.....anyone else? Or am I weird?

And what are we all upto today? X

Nope! Not weird. There are times I crave to get away from folk and have time to myself (nothing naughty) and be away from it all. The coast is my go to for that and I could happily spend a couple days on my lonesome by the sea.

Must agree with you. A bit of alone time does wonders sometimes. I often enjoy switching off my phone, getting in the car and just going somewhere I've never been before to be by myself.

Rather jealous of the walk and time to contemplate.

Stuck at work and thinking of being by the sea now rather than doing what I should be

That isn't at all weird. I don't make enough of living by the sea, although I do often cycle along the coast road and thoroughly enjoy it

I love it and i find I've always been good with my own company

No, I don't think that's weird at all. Many of us lead such busy lives, frequently being surrounded by other people; taking ourselves away and absorbing our surroundings and how they make us feel sounds like the perfect way of recharging.

I love walking the coastal path alone with my dog

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

Working in a remote coastal location is great for getting away from everything..

Quite often I'll go and sit along by the Quay with only the gulls and occasional harbour seal for company.

It's nice to get away and clear your mind, so no, you are definitely not odd or in a minority..

I love walking the coastal path alone with my dog

I love this

the world is just so busy and constantly on the go. It's so good to just take ourselves out of it for even just a short while. It's good to catch up with myself and think

I love the coastal walk as I love the sound of the sea. If I had a dog I'm sure we'd have some lovely walks

It really does make me happy. Taking time out and being alone with various wildlife for company

we all need time out occasionally. So glad others are the same

I often take myself off to the coast with my dogs for a walk, I find the quiet beaches where not many people go and just walk. . There's something really soothing about hearing the waves crashing and smelling the sea air

Definitely not weird. I love getting out in the fresh air for a stroll or ride (bike ride that is!). Good to clear the head.

I do plan on a very long walk soon. The Camino de Santiago. 500 miles across the north of Spain. Anyone on here done that?

West Wales and Cardiff

Walk on the coast most days.

I love the solitude of walking - also head to the mountains as much as possible.

I joined a walking group once, but being in a big group defeated the object of it and drove me a bit pottty.

That said, a long walk with a cool Fabber or two would be cool

I may reach a milestone birthday in 2019.

I'm pondering taking on 1 of 2 challenges. Either running the Fire and Ice Ultra in Iceland or running the length of the South West coast path.

Both are a bit bonkers
