Shallow or honest? It's debatable which it is. I will say though i avoid very big women when its hot like it has been the last few days.

for me there has to be a good mixture of looks and personality when it comes to sex

for friends looks matter nothing its the person inside that counts, but if im having sex with them i would not get turned on by a unatractive guy with a great personality anymore than i would a good looking guy with no personality so i would not have se with either

i still do not see that as shallow

Thinking about this you only have to look at that programme dating in the dark... although Ive only encountered it a couple of times. Amazing how many people get on really well in the dark and a lot seem to fancy each other, then they get a few seconds to get a glimpse of each other in some form of light then all of a sudden they dont want to go further because they have the wrong colour hair or some minor "problem".

however, imagine if your partner, husband or wife had some sort of an accident which made them disfigured, or made them fat or thin, or made them bald or disabled or something... would they suddenly become unloveable in your eyes? would you be repulsed and suddenly undeserving of sex with you?

looks are not everything and after all, its only sex!!

That is why I answered the OP as I did, a one off meet is living a fantasy for me therefore I would like a looker, but a partner is based on many other factors than aesthetics.

No matter what happens to a partners looks my bond to them could never be broken.

All of us have a degree of shallowness and whether we find someone visually attractive is an instant thing. In real life when you get close to someone and you have a similar sense of humour and outlook then they become very attractive, their personality will be on equal terms to their physical attractivess. Similarly you may hook up with someone who is absolutely stunning, but in time realise that you don't connect personality wise and they become less attractive to you.

In swinging its extremely shallow and its the correct arena for that. Its fantasy, its looking for a great sexual thrill, as well as someone you can have a laugh with for the couple of hours you are together. After you leave you both become just a memory to each other, nothing more. I will go for looks in the first instance and, if I've seen someone I connect with on the forum, personality will come into it. I don't think its a bad thing, I'm also being judged. When guys look at my pics they are not thinking, "oo I bet she's a good conversationlist, they are thinking, let's see what her tits are like, has she got a good ass, is she too fat for me, could I have sex with her, does she fit my fantasy, is she good enough, let's see what her face is like, if her body or face is ok can I overlook the not so attractive things about her. I accept it, so should everyone else

Dating in the dark: I admit to not missing a show! I also find all the people delusional as none of them are particularly "hot" in my view.

As for people leaving their partners? My sister was a size 8 when she married. Her husband made it quite clear if she put on weight he'd leave her. She's always been around a size 6/8 and didn't think anything of it - until she became pregnant and ballooned up to a size 18.

True to his word - he was off!

To answer your ealier question.... see Archangel above.... oops must stop dribbling (shallow much? you bet lol).

However, leaving a wife who gets pregnant and gains weight, shallow would be a compliment - thats a whole different ball game. Whilst I want to stay attractive for my partner, how would it feel to be rejected for having their child?! Good God. Id say she was better off without him.
