crisps or not

wikipedia says In the United Kingdom they are made with tapioca starch and in Ireland with potato starch. so ..... are crisps potato snacks only or any kind of little bagged up snacks - theres a lot riding on this for me and a mate on here

Snacks.. savoury snacks! Potato related snacks are different.. pringles are potato related, frazzles and monster much etc are corn related snacks.. skips are primarily tapioca related ! Google claims them as a snack not a crisp! Hope this helps xx

Def still crisps, certain things like cheesr puffs and onion rings are made from maize and they are def crisps.. just a variation.

I cant have potato so i love that skips, monster munch and doritos are all ones I can eat

Since crisps were invented, by an Indian chef I think, by frying thinly sliced potatoes ergo crisps need to be made from potatoes.

Technically, I'd say they aren't crisps. Crisps are potato slices. But if somebody said 'do you want a some crisps buying' and the reply was 'yes, Skips please' that wouldn't be strange.
