Oof. That's a bummer. Forget about it if you can. There are some thoughtless people around. But also, you never know, something more important may have happened there end.

Sorry to hear that as I can imagine the frustration but I guess the advice is the same as for a single guy - block, don't worry about it and move on

I've had it couple of times.most annoying thing is I don't have much spare time working round kids and work so to have what little time I do have for meet only for them to cancel last minute is a pain

We had it happen to us last week. Got to theirs and they didn't even answer the door. Bloody annoying when mr had asked for some time off as they owed him some hours. Then had the cheek to try and get me to meet them alone.

Huni I'm sorry I really don't understand ppls thought processes on here sometimes. Yes I get it's NSA but time and feelings are precious. Ppl need to stop and think about the impact of their actions. I hate how destructive this place can be sometimes and end up messaging ppl randomly from the forum to offer support. Fab isn't a game, the ppl are real, we're all here to have fun, if only everyone could remember that xxx

Unfortunately happens a lot. Lots of fake profiles, feel like such a mug when they don't turn up as well, so annoying!

Still better than just not turning up I guess, we've had that once & arrange most meets in clubs or at least somewhere we can do something else instead.

It could be there were problems with the couple themselves they had to sort out. They left the site, this would suggest they're done with swinging in general.

I imagine your frustration but I wouldn't call them timewasters...unlike the couple mentioned above who didn't answer the door!

It's no consolation op but I'm wary of people who don't give offsite contact details, so won't rearrange stuff until they do. Obviously the couple who didn't answer the door to the couple above is beyond redemption too.

What annoys me most is when they *don't* leave the site and carry on regardless. Twice now I've had experiences where they've lied elaborately right up to the moment when you're meant to go face to face, and they suddenly blocked me. What they get out of it is beyond me, both times they were "couples" and both profiles have blocked me but continued on the site despite being reported. So they're free to go and do it to everyone else. It really winds me up, but I don't know how the site can police it - if they kick them off, it's easy enough to start another profile.

It got to the point where we'd had a number of times she's in a row and em completely had enough of this place and swinging in general. They can totally demoralise you but they think it's perfectly ok to mess you around.

Grr that's frustrating.

You will get so that you can spot the signs, when it happens in future you will get a 6th sense about it, and can either avoid them, or arrange your meet so that it doesn't inconvenience you so much.

If you get a sneaky feeling, but want to give them a chance, arrange to meet at a club, so you can still have fun or socialise. That throws most fake / timewasters because they aren't getting the kick out of you putting yourself out just for them.

Sorry to hear that OP, that would drive us up the wall.

Not as bad admittedly but we've had a couple of instances where we're chatting a lot to guys, we've swapped face pics, everyones interested, everybody's said what they want from the meet, we then throw some dates at them for a social and then "......", nothing, don't hear from them again.

Its just made us realise its going to be trickier than we thought organising what we want and need to be more selective about who we spend time talking to on here, checking veri's , chatting thoroughly... and then once its all arranged making sure we have a back up (club visit maybe) so we're not disappointed. Every day's a school day on here so far!

Hope you're not too downhearted OP and that something comes up soon

Timewasters: All my sympathy to you. Sadly there are a lot of timewasters on this site. Easiest way to qualify interest is to ask for a mobile number very early on in chatting. If people are real AND interested, then they will want to talk to you on the phone. Saves a lot of wasted time. Good luck, Mike.
