....in the National Gallery on Saturday. Shocking, and terrible for any art lovers trying to get in to a particular room

Well, hopefully not too difficult to repair then....seems a bit of a waste of time to search everyone at the entrance (though of course don't know where he hid the knife)...

Yes but in strange way it also adds to the social history of an artwork that would probably never be sold for a monetary value.... many of the worlds greatest art treasure have a back story involving damage or vandalism,,,,,

Tis a shame though,,,

Yes but in strange way it also adds to the social history of an artwork that would probably never be sold for a monetary value.... many of the worlds greatest art treasure have a back story involving damage or vandalism,,,,,

I know about that but I love to see unspoilt works of art just as they would have been when the painter was in front of them.. thats something special to me
