am not talking big things or essentials, just little things

i would say i have 3, namely :

molton brown shower gels

fragranced candles by yankee candle / molton brown / jo malone

DVD's / Blu-Ray Discs

I have to confess to popping into M&S Simply Food yesterday to get 'something for dinner' on the way back from a weekend away.

Came out having spent £40 (but at least I have some nice lunches lined up this week

iso she is 18month and has an entire library in her room haha,, board books and picture books, im forever reading to her and singing the nursery rhymes. If i took half her toys away she probably wouldn't bat an eyelid but if i took her books away she'd know lol

i then didn't help matters by saying that was a stupid amount to spend on make up at which point i was virtually savaged lol

at that point, i learned 1 valuable lesson

the 2 or 3 i've tried are nice but there is 1 that smells like the inside of an asian grocery shop

as a nice a smell as it is in the shop, it's not the best advert to go out smelling like you've just jumped in n out of the spice bags

yup she was the same - chanel, dior, ysl, estee lauder, clinique

not to mention the money she used to spend on the magazines that promoted them and where she got ideas for her next purchase from

weekends in bed were usually, wake at 7, have an early morning session then i would be despatched to tesco for maple pecan danishes, tropicana juice and about £20's worth of papers and magazines that she would then spread over the bed

never mind, at least i got some peace before the afternoon shopping trip to buy yet more make up

at least i'm not cynical (much) lol

I could live without my magazine subscription however I do pay for it with Tesco points so that's not too bad.

I could use supermarket own shower gels and bath stuff but I don't, I use Molton Brown.

I could spend less on perfume but I'd rather spend more on the scents that I love.

I could spend less on handbags however I adore Tula and Radley (and their quality) so I will continue to have what I like.

I could spend less on toilet roll however I prefer the quality of a more expensive brand (and it seems to last longer) so I don't compromise on that.

I could live without Sky TV however our terrestrial reception is diabolical here so I'd rather not.

I could live without my uneconomical car however in bad snow I can't leave my house.

That's just from the top of my head, there's probably loads more.

Oh and my health-grill. I could have bought 4 or 5 cheaper ones for the price of the one I have however, having bought 4 or 5 cheaper ones before, there's no contest.

I'm getting to the stage where I'm refusing to compromise on quality and hate throwing good money after bad.
