Depends on quantity of ink, and body location, for instance a full sleeve on a woman is an instant turn off, or a tattoo in the face is horrible, but across the back of the hips or on the breasts are wicked naughty and I like those

I know I might get shot down for this but I've never been a fan. This is a bit strange for me because I'm quite artistic.

Some tattoos look ok but most to me look a bit over the top or cheesy.

I think that quite a lot of people get them to attract the opposite sex and it's just really in fashion right now.. kinda like the whole beard thing.

My pet hate about tattoos is those neck ones behind or just below the ears. It's like a prison gang thing.
