Confused..??

So I swap messages with folk on here, swap pics, get positive feedback, flirt, all that good stuff, its looking promising.

Next thing I know, no response, and in some cases suddenly get blocked!!

Not expecting reasons, but does anyone else experience this, or is it just me?

It's normal, when you assume that most people will not be compatible with others and that silence or blocks equals no current interest. With increased communication it becomes easier to discover whether someone is, or is not, compatible with you.

People also have lives outside of here, partners, family etc, so message attention won't be top priority.

Time wasters are people who plan to meet then cancel at the last minute or don't turn up.

No mate I'm not a ground work kind of guy. Clubs or meet now, are the only scenarios I will do.

This is because you have know idea how many different people they are talking to, and better offers may arise and you will get dropped.

Not necessarily. For instance.. you could be chatting to someone and sending messages for days, weeks or months .. then they tell you they are married, when you state clearly no married guys on your profile. Its happened to me .. but fortunately only a few messages were exchanged before he informed me he was married so he did waste my time. He should have stated at the beginning or put it on his profile.

Yep all the time. Then they try and restart the conversation a few weeks later.

It's the norm so best to cut all the crap out and ask for a social meet/drink. Don't bother with loads of texts and pic swapping.

The problem is, we all have lives away from Fab. And sometimes those lives take priority, or they take over.

And sometimes, after a bit of chatting, you realise you don't fancy someone.

And sometimes, people are knackered. Or change their minds.

They're not bad people...just human x

I've been blocked and ignored lots of times but I've also had quite a few great meets too. Swings and roundabouts, don't dwell on it. Shit happens, it's the same as replying 'Thanks but No Thanks'.... only quicker!
