curries+ a random thought

READING

now we've all seen the various selections..meat,veggie etc,but have never seen one for a fruit curry.is fruit just a no-no for curry? if so why? I rather like the idea of curried apples,might even give it a try.

Fruit curry is indeed a thing. I'm quite partial to both banana and mango curries. Especially with sweet, cinnamon rice.

They always used to have sliced banana with the curry too - in the mess on a sunday maybe? Dunno where that came from....my curry is defo more English public school than authentic Indian!

I had a Persian curry once. I always thought it was the name of the region it came from, latter found out it was the type of cat they use.

my first curry apart from the vesta variety was a chicken malaya - i had said i wanted a mild one - it had bananas in - i left most of it

The hotter the better a good curry should make you sweat,if its a meat curry the meat should be cooked on the bone and none of that commercial vindaloo or phaal pish.
