"With nice views too and a forrest "

Instead of chopping the forest down for timber could do a "Save the trees for a few dollars" interweb page, probably cover costs too ...

There is a fella raffling his country house in Lancashire as he can't achieve the asking price of £650k it cost to renovate it. He's had offers of £450-500k but thinks raffling it at £2 a ticket will bring in the purchase price. It's enormous and looks gorgeous. Search 'win a country house', maybe add Lancashire if you have difficulty.

Do you win it renovated or as is , would be a crap prize if you have to spend 650k as well ...

It's a completely renovated Georgian /Victorian country pile. There was talk when I saw it that there was nothing to stop people who had money to spend from buying £50k worth of tickets to increase their chances of being picked, selling it for whatever if they won.

I'm no house buff but did think that too so looked the houses history for the answer and it says much the same. I haven't entered it either but it is a lovely ol pad
