"Beans on toast.

Nope beans ON toast...

This is personal so not budging

I started life very poor and my mum as a single parent on benefits did the best she could. We had little or nothing to get us through.

I remember my mum always saying beans on toast tastes better.

Guess what...

It always did. Fastforward to today I am lucky enough to enjoy more variety of food, but I still enjoy beans on toast.

That always reminds me of the past... made me the person I am today.

Simple things make a massive difference when going through tough times and my mum knew she could get us through the years.

This section is because I was going to mention in another thread about work, but some passionate people were relentless in their views so the thread got closed

My first job was doing the morning paper rounds £2 a day, £10 for 5 days in a week.

That had a direct result in my love for chocolate because shop owner used to say take a chocolate after my rounds were finished!

Anyway...

Love beans on toast
