I just didn't like the way they sounded. Shallow I know but voices are a big part of what makes someone attractive to me.

I know what you mean it put me off from having anymore telephone conversation's first. He sounded like a woman over the phone,strangely didn't face to face,weird! My ex sounded girly over the phone as well

I'm the opposite. In my head I sound sexy. When I hear (or even worse watch a video) myself back however, very disappointing!

. That's quite right, I,m often told I sound so different in real life than on phone....

Not sure if that s for the better though....

I reread the OP.

I think the accent plays an important part along with their tone. But yes, it definitely makes a difference.
