When the friendship ends ... badly

Has anyone ever had a FWB or FB friendship finish ........ badly?

I once had a text saying she wouldn't like to see me again as she was getting back with her ex. She then gave my number to her ex who rang me to have a 'word' with me.

Dunno, it seemed a bit nasty tbh, but she did keep moaning about his various manipulative and controlling ways.

if he was abusive he probably forced her to hand it over, or (more likely) he went through her phone for numbers and called any guys he's suspects her of knowing. -it's an isolation technique...he is warning you off her so she has nobody to turn to, having support makes it easier for her to leave him you see.

unfortunately, abusive types get better at abusing, over time, and at making sure their victims stay/cannot escape.

"Dare to expand?"

He said she would ring the police saying I was harassing her, if I ever rang or text her.

He said he would give my name to a bunch of 'skinheads' if I contacted her again.

I laughed and asked if he would like my address, he hung up, I blocked him, I had already deleted her messages, photos she sent and number when she did the dump by text.

Not good, sounds like a toxic relationship, shame really, I put up with 15 years of it. They are very clever at what they do.

This sounds shitty. Hopefully it all goes away and it's empty threats.

Walk away....quick steps.

Sounds like you're better off without her.

Chalk it up to experience as that isn't rational behaviour.

Are you sure it was actually her texting ? Anyways he sounds like a real insecure person and if she has taken him back then you're best off out of it

Yes and it knocks your confidence. I don't trust many in here. My girlfriends are my true friends; they would never hurt me.
