Steak Tartare, fried salmon skin, fried chicken skin, confit de canard, creme brulee, Tiramisu, foie gras etc...

You can spot the theme, right, all high in fat content.

fish fat is good though. I love smoked mackeral, heated in its own fat in a frying pan over a high heat to crisp the skin and when it starts to spit, add some sweet chilli sauce. Stir it for a few seconds so that it just starts to caramelise. Serve with crunchy salad, it's bloody gorgeous and really fast and easy to do too

1964 golden wonder produced the first flaovoured crisps.m y parents were village grocers and i remember the exitement when they came in.until then it had been salted or the salt in the blue wrapper !!!.OMG they were just amazing they actually tasted of cheese and onion ......im showing me age now forgive me for rambling down memory lane .....
